Likee

Likee is an app for short videos and live streams from the Singapore-based company BIGO Technology. Users film clips set to music, add filters, masks and special effects, join challenges and scroll a recommendation feed. Live streaming is a big part of the service: viewers support streamers with virtual gifts, and creators receive an in-app reward for them. The app is available on Android and iOS.

In the Likee section of the marketplace people buy Diamonds, the currency for gifts in streams and paid features; Beans, the reward streamers earn; accounts with an audience and history; and services such as help with profile design, video editing and stream setup.

Before buying, confirm the Likee profile ID that should receive the order and the delivery method: Diamonds are usually topped up by ID, while Beans need a separate arrangement. For an account, find out what it is linked to, whether a phone, email or social network, whether that link can be changed and whether the profile has any restrictions. For services, agree on the scope and the result in advance.

The money stays with the marketplace until you have checked your balance, profile access or the finished work and confirmed receipt. Before confirming you can open a dispute, and a moderator will review the deal chat. An optional guarantee package is available for accounts.
