Minecraft is the block-building survival sandbox now published by Microsoft in two versions: Java Edition for PC, with mods and community servers, and Bedrock Edition for PC, consoles and phones, with a shared Marketplace. Playing on licensed servers and Realms requires a Microsoft account that owns the game.

On the marketplace you can buy a licence, activation keys, accounts with capes and server ranks, and Minecoins for the Bedrock Marketplace. Before buying, the key thing is to know which version and which platform you need: a PC key will not work on a console, and Minecoins are useless if you only play Java. For keys and codes, check the region; for a licence, find out whether the game is activated on your own Microsoft account or you get a separate account. For accounts, check that the Microsoft email is handed over and that the server does not forbid transferring ranks.

Payment goes through a deal: the money is held by the marketplace until you launch the game or see the balance and confirm receipt. If a key is rejected, the game will not start or an account does not match the listing, open a dispute before confirming and a moderator will review the chat and screenshots. Account purchases can be covered by the Guarantee package. Read the seller's reviews and ask questions in the chat before paying. A final tip: before redeeming any code, check which Microsoft account you are signed in to.
