Kimi

Kimi is an AI assistant from the Chinese company Moonshot AI. It holds conversations, answers questions, writes and edits text, helps with code and searches the web, and it is especially known for handling long documents: you can upload a large file or several files and ask for a summary, a comparison or an analysis. The assistant is available in the browser and in mobile apps, and developers connect the company's models to their own products through an API. The basic features are free, but paid options exist for heavy use.

In the Kimi section of the marketplace you can buy subscriptions, meaning paid access with higher limits, accounts, including ones with features already enabled, and balance top-ups, which are mainly needed for working with the models through the developer platform.

Before buying, find out exactly what you are getting: a subscription on your own account or a separate account, personal access or shared. Ask which version of the service the product is for and how the login works. For a balance top-up, ask which platform account it goes to and whether the seller needs to sign in to it.

The money for a deal is held by the marketplace until you have checked the result and confirmed receipt.
