Ableton

Ableton is a Berlin company that makes Ableton Live, one of the most popular programs for making music, along with the Push controllers. Live pairs a familiar linear arrangement view with a session view where clips and loops are launched in real time, which is why producers of electronic music, DJs and live performers all favour it. Live includes built-in instruments, effects, sound libraries and audio and MIDI editing, and its higher editions add the Max for Live environment for building your own devices. The program comes in several editions, from the entry-level Intro to the full Suite, and runs on Windows and macOS.

The Ableton section of the marketplace offers licences for Live, plugins and sound packs to use in the program, and services ranging from mixing and arrangement to help with installation and setup. Each area has its own category.

Before buying, check which edition and version of Live the licence covers, which account it is registered to and whether it can be authorised on the number of computers you need. For plugins, check the format, compatibility with your system and how the licence is transferred. For services, describe the task and the expected result in advance.

The marketplace safeguards your payment: the money waits for the buyer's confirmation and only reaches the seller once you have checked the licence, the plugin or the finished work. If something does not match the listing, open a dispute before confirming, and the moderator will rely on the deal chat. An optional guarantee package is available for accounts. Study the seller's reviews and keep every agreement in the deal chat.
