EA Play

EA Play is Electronic Arts' subscription service. It unlocks a library of the publisher's games, trial versions of some new releases and discounts in the EA store. The subscription works on PC through the EA app and Steam, as well as on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, and each platform is subscribed to separately: a membership only applies where it was activated. PC players can also choose an extended tier with a larger catalogue.

In this section of the marketplace people buy the EA Play subscription itself, either as codes or added to their own account, ready-made accounts with EA games, and individual EA titles delivered as keys or purchased on the buyer's profile. Before paying, check three things: the platform (an Xbox code will not work in the EA app, and vice versa), the account region the product is meant for, and the subscription length, which the seller must state in the listing. If you are buying an account, ask whether an email is attached and whether it can be changed.

Every deal is protected: the money is held by the marketplace until you check the product and confirm receipt. Codes from listings with automatic delivery appear on the deal page right after payment; otherwise the seller hands the product over in the deal chat. If a code does not redeem or the membership is wrong, open a dispute before confirming, and a moderator will review the chat and screenshots. A practical tip: redeem the code and check your subscription status in your EA profile right after delivery, while the deal is still open.
